As your Solicitor for the past ten years, Robert Stokely has been a pro-active Solicitor serving Coweta County since 1998. Bringing innovation to the duties of prosecution while implementing cost cutting changes to his office to save taxpayers’ money, Robert has done whatever it took to get the job done including working a part-time job to fund the Solicitors’ office.

“As Solicitor, I have overseen a growth transition that has taken the State Court of Coweta County from less than a hundred court sessions a year with one Judge to over 275 court sessions with two full-time State Court Judges and two Magistrate Court Judges.”

With just $20,000 a year in Victim’s Program funding, Robert Stokely and the Solicitor’s office has assisted 900 victims of crime per year while recovering hundreds of thousands of dollars in victim restitution.

“My proudest achievement is the building of a staff that can prosecute the toughest cases against million dollar defense attorneys, including DUI defense experts. Protecting the citizens I serve has been my highest priority and we have had great success.”
“What we have accomplished is only the beginning of the success we will accomplish if you allow me serve you these next four years.”

Robert has been a voting Republican since the early 70's and has worked on the ground attending meetings, manning telephone banks, putting up campaign signs, and handing out flyers to help the local Coweta Republican Party to elect local, state and national Republican Candidates since 1994 - long before he even thought of running for elected office. Robert Stokely openly and boldly stood by his Republican roots when seeking to be appointed by a Democratic Governor to fill the unexpired term of the previous Solicitor.

Robert has been an active member of the Republican Party for over 30 years and active in the local party for 14+ years
